Stuck for a plan in September? Here’s two!

| | ,

Marlow is always full of great events, and the weekend of September 11th -12th is no different.

The Crowne Plaza will be home to the Marlow Food Festival; from 10-4pm on both days.

With an impressive array of chefs – including two of the winners of the BBC’s Great British Menu, (together for the first time since the series ended), the organisers have promised more of the same with celebrity chef master classes, food, champagne and wine tastings and plenty of children’s activities to guarantee a fabulous family weekend.

Get involved with one of the many master classes, including one from Marlow’s own Tom Kerridge (The Hand & Flowers, Marlow).

Bill Turnbull, journalist and BBC Breakfast presenter, will be in attendance to talk about his new book “The Bad Beekeeper”, which will include a live demonstration from HWBKA.

And of course, Marlow’s favourite gourmet barbecue specialists Man, Meat Fire and Chris Day of Jimmy’s Farm will be there! With so many things to do, including stalls to peruse, time will fly by!

But, don’t forget about the MarlowFM Music Festival.

There will be a free concert running from 10am through to 6pm in Riley Park followed by a limited ticketed evening indoor concert in the theatre at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School from 7.30pm onwards.

There are some great acts, including local singers/performers.
