Town Mayor’s Charity Appeal Dinner 25th Sep

The Compleat Angler and Marlow Town Mayor, Cllr Jocelyn Towns will be hosting a Charity Dinner in aid of Marlow Sports Club on 25th September 2011 at 7.00pm

The dinner follows the grand opening of the Marlow Sports Club to the Community on the afternoon of the 25th.

Cllr Towns told us “The Sports Club made a huge commitment to secure the land from Whitbread for the Community and this is my chosen charity for my Mayoral year”

The price for the evening will be £30 per person which will include a three course dinner in the Compleat Angler Hotel’s Regency Room.  (Wine to be purchased separately by diners, although there will be a complimentary glass of wine for guests on arrival.)

Guest speakers will be Roger Dye, Trustee of Marlow Sports Club and David Hillier, Upper Sixth Former and Communications Prefect from Sir William Borlase School. There will also be an auction and a raffle on the night.

All proceeds to be given to the charity to help them refurbish the Club in order to facilitate the use of the club by all sections of the community.
