The clocks have gone back , but no need to let the darkness get you down – Marlow has plenty of firework displays to cheer up the coming weekend. There are 3 events conveniently spread around Marlow and Marlow Bottom meaning something nearby whichever part of town you live in, or whatever day you want to go!
You can start off the weekend with Foxes Piece Firework Display is on Friday 4th November
Gates open at 6.00pm, and tickets are bought on the night – costing £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for children.
In addition to the display there will be food , refreshments, a beer tent and children’s fairground rides.
Then ,on Saturday 5th you have a choice of two events:
Longridge: Fireworks and Bonfire Night will involve a spectacular 30-minute firework display with music, food, drink, river trips and activity stalls.
Gates open at 5.30pm, with the main display starting at approximately 7.15pm.
Tickets are cheaper if purchased in advance, and are available from Longridge, the Marlow Tourist Office and via the website www.longridge-uk.org
Adults £8 (£10 on gate)
Children £5 (£6 on gate) – under 16. Under 5’s are free.
Family of 4 £20 (£26 on gate)
Marlow Bottom Fireworks at Burford School, Marlow Bottom runs from 5:30pm – 8:30 pm, with the “Fireworks extravaganza” starting at approx 7pm.
They have plenty of other attractions lined up too – lots of stalls, hot food, BBQ, refreshments and a bar.
All tickets on the gate £8, but cheaper tickets are available in advance – from Marlow Tourist Info, Burford School or online at www.marlowbottomfireworks.com.
Adults: £6, Child £5, or £20 for a family of 2+2.
