For 2015, the third Rock Bottom event at Marlow Bottom Playing Fields promises to be bigger and better than ever! Come with the family, enjoy the music, fully licensed bar, a great variety of hot and cold food, kids’ entertainment and much more.
The charity open air event includes established groups, popular local bands, new talent and the latest rising stars.
The line-up includes up and coming vocalist Alice Ella with her haunting and evocative songs; The Stormflies, a local band of musicians whose music we know you’ll love; The Echo, with sounds of the Jam, The Who, Stranglers ; Rock & Roll with Hog Wild and much more.
But the highlight of the day is sure to be iconic 80s band Dr and the Medics, best known for their massive 1986 No. 1 “Spirit in the Sky” which sold over 23 Million copies worldwide and was number 1 in 19 countries!! Throughout their career they have also been recognised as a great live act.
Marlow Rock Bottom is a non-profit making charity event, raising money to maintain the Marlow Bottom Playing Fields and playground throughout the year.
Gates open at 12 mid-day. Bands start at 12.30pm and finish at 9:30pm.
