We have been contacted by Really Wild Clothing – an online ladies clothing company who advised us they will be opening a shop in Marlow in March 2017. This will be their first bricks and mortar store, and it will be at 105 High St – opposite Burgers, what was once La Cotonniere , but has been vacant for some time.
The business was founded by Natalie Lake 15 years ago, and a look at their website reveals the brand is favoured by very some well known (name drop – Royal!) people! Here’s more from them:
After experiencing significant growth online, the boutique retailer has chosen Marlow for its first step on the High Street. Really Wild Clothing will bring to the town its luxury collection of outerwear, tailoring, knitwear, accessories and boots. The collection features tailored tweed sourced from Scotland and a stunning range of printed shirts made from Liberty silks.
Commenting on the choice of location for the first Really Wild Clothing store, Natalie Lake said: “Marlow was the obvious choice – as a thriving market town, it offers the perfect mix of country environment and premium High Street brands. The Really Wild customer wants the best of both life in the country and the city, so Marlow fits the bill brilliantly!
“We’ve built up our online presence over the last 15 years, and developed a physical presence through pop-ups at country fairs over the last 10, but we feel now is the right time to bring our collection to the High Street and allow customers to enjoy the garments first hand.
“Inspired by the British countryside, Really Wild Clothing was created with a vision to take women effortlessly from town to country, from work to weekend. Our designs offer sharp tailoring with a feminine touch. We’re thrilled to have fans throughout the world and hope that the visitors to Marlow will also fall in love with our designs.”
Natalie, who began her career as an interior designer, is currently working closely with retail specialists to transform 105 High Street before its opening in early March. There are plans to host a VIP launch night for local customers, details of which will be released in the coming weeks.
