Marlow’s resident Olympic Hockey Gold medalist , Alex Danson was awarded an MBE yesterday, together with some of her Rio 2016 teammates.
We asked Alex how the day went, and she told us: “We received our MBE’s from Prince William, he spoke with everyone at such length which made the occasion even more special. I was so lucky to share the day with my family, friends and teammates and it is certainly a day I will never forget.”
