Marlow’s Wimpy will close on 30th December

| |

In early November we were saddened to bring you news of the closure of The Wimpy on Marlow High Street.  We reported that the building was up for sale by the owners, at the end of Wimpy’s lease, the first time the property has been on the market in 30 years.

The article got a huge reaction on our social media channels, including over 500 comments on our Facebook post. The affection for our Wimpy from residents and from further afield was clear.

It is still on the market for offers in excess of £1.5m, but Wimpy HQ advised us today that it will be closing its doors for the last time on 30th December 2017.

Our original article breaking the news of closure can be read here:  MyMarlow article on Wimpy being set to close
