*EXCLUSIVE* King’s Head in Little Marlow to reopen

| |

The King’s Head in Little Marlow has been closed since April 2017 (see photos here, when MyMarlow was there for the last day of service), and at the time the news was that a planning application was put in for conversion to a White Brasserie – a chain associated with Raymond Blanc.  There was considerable local opposition, in large part due to parking issues, and in the end those plans were rejected, sadly leaving a lovely old building empty.

We are now delighted to reveal that the King’s Head plans to reopen its door in June 2018 , after a refurbishment thanks to investment by the Old Spot Pub Company.

MyMarlow spoke directly to one of the partners involved to get the details:

“This is a very exciting project with a business that has been closed for some time. We will undertake a sympathetic restoration of a wonderful building enhancing its character and bringing a new lease of life to a much loved building. Work has already started on the site and we are now ready to start looking for local people to come and work with us.”

The business is now recruiting for all levels of team members across front and back of house, and have management positions available as well.  If interested, or for more information,  contact Chris Watts on 07981 159480 or drop him an email at recruitmentoldspot@gmail.com.

Of course, MyMarlow.co.uk will keep you advised of progress during the refurbishment, leading up to opening! So, as ever – watch this space!
