REVIEW and PHOTOS – Marlow Orchestra at The Ship

First up – the review: what a fantastic evening! Not much more to say 🙂

To give you an idea of the variety you can expect from a Marlow Orchestra pub concert, they opened with the Thunderbirds theme, and then played pieces ranging from Rossini’s William Tell Overture to New York New York, and culminating with a rousing Can Can!

Also, how cool is it that a small town like Marlow even has an orchestra?

Musical Director Tom Horn (conducting in the photos) told us “That was just a perfect summers evening, we were delighted at the attendance – and the Ship are certainly great hosts!! We’ve had such a positive response and are looking forward to the next two concerts”   Those concerts are Thu 12th 7.30pm Two Brewers, Sun 15th 1pm The Bounty, Bourne End.
