Andi Coope – childcare and childrens yoga

andiWe have just added a new Children’s Yoga class to our Childrens Activity page, starting in Jan 2012.  They are run by mum of three, Andi Coope, who also offers breakfast and after school childcare, as well as a holiday club.

Andi lives in Marlow Bottom and set up her childcare and yoga business to fit around her family, after giving up corporate life. Her last role was Head of Events at Barclays, in Canary Wharf.

Andi was inspired by her passions from outside work and her desire to spend more time with her children. “As a single mum my goal for setting up the business was twofold – to move away from the corporate commute and create a life which gives me more balance and time with my children and my passions. Alongside my corporate career and professional qualifications I have learnt– yoga, martial arts, and self development. I wanted to share my experience and knowledge in a holistic way.”

Andi has professional qualifications in childminding and Paediatric First Aid. Here’s the details of the services and activities she offers:

Yoga Classes for Children & Teens (Starts 11th January 2012)

  • Let your child achieve a sense of wholeness in mind and body using postures for strength, flexibility & balance combined with breath-work, relaxation, meditation and mantra.
  • 8 -12 year olds at 6.30pm, then  13 -17 year olds at 7.30pm
  • Dance Studio, Sir William Borlase Grammar School in Marlow
  • Trial class £1 and then £7 per class payable termly in advance.

Wholesome & Fun Holiday Club

  • Tailor-made activities in nature & the home
  • Designed to inspire, inform & relax 4 to 11 year olds
  • Professional childcare based in Marlow
  • £45 per 10-hour day or £25 per half day all-inclusive
  • Taking bookings for 19th – 23th December 3rd January 2012
