On Thursday 25th June from 7.30pm the Marlow Orchestra will performing in the garden of the Ship pub!

The pub has recently been taken over by Tim Wilson and his new team – this event will be held in the newly renovated, decked garden and will be the perfect opportunity to see the changes that are being made.

Tim commented, “We have some exciting plans to bring The Ship into the 21st century and over the next six months there will be changes to the menu, a new cocktail and champagne bar as well as events like the one with Marlow Orchestra. We are looking forward to welcoming customers, old and new, to what promises to be a fantastic evening of music and drinks and hope they will join us on the next step of the journey for a pub that has roots in Marlow going back to 1580”.

Tom Horn from the Marlow Orchestra, added, “We are keen to build our following and believe that our music can be enjoyed by an eclectic audience. Long gone are the days when orchestras are only for the elite and we think people will be pleasantly surprised when they hear our music. We are excited about playing at The Ship and hope this will be the first of many visits for us.”
