Marlow Carnival 2016 – Sat 17th September

marlow carnivalMarlow Carnival is the ever popular annual event organised by Marlow Community Association, and takes place on Sat 17th September in Higginson Park, from 11am to 5pm

Of course there is a huge list of activities and refreshments to keep you fed, watered and entertained! Here are some highlights….

  • Children’s Procession through the Park, an absolute wow last year.
  • BBQ provided by Phil Bowditch and the Flying Tea Room provided by Dot and family, both Carnival Partners, who generously share the profits with MCA. Book your own private table for afternoon tea! See Facebook.
  • Bar provided by Steve from Mad Monkeys
  • Welcome to the Botanist who will have their delicious Lemonade on sale. They can also prepare a Picnic for you! Drop into the Botanist for details.
  • Crepe Heaven, for those with a sweet tooth!
  • Entertainment provided by many local groups presenting song and dance from a variety of ages with workshops to help join in the fun. More details on MyMarlow.co.uk soon!
  • MarlowFM, will broadcast from the Carnival and supports all the entertainers.
  • Mini Go-Carts for older children plus children’s Fairground rides.
  • Immortal Fitness challenge to test your stamina!
  • Silent Auction, with some valuable opportunities.
  • Classic Cars and Pony Rides and a new ride that defies description!
  • Meet the specially trained Search Dogs and talk to the Air Ambulance
  • Longridge return to show you what they can do.
  • Sea Cadets and the Air Cadets also join us this year.
  • The Leisure Centre are also with us.
  • Junior Bake Off returns; entry forms from Beehive Treats.
  • Stalls and stalls and more stalls from the local community.
