The George and Dragon - our review

The George and Dragon Extensively refurbished in Aug 2008, and is a restaurant as much as a pub (see entry in our restaurant section). Going there on a Friday night we were overwhelmed by the very young average age of clientele, not sure if this is normal, so until we revisit we will rely on your comments..... Went there for the first time since refurbishment - very impressive and will go again. However,service was slow, even though it didn't seem that busy. Rating:

Spent £18 per head on a Mothers Day meal - big disappointment - should have gone to Zizzi's. Found food was over-cooked, childrens roast included one sprig of broccoli with no other veg. Salmon crust was burnt and served with yesterdays mash potatoes. Cannot recommend!!! Rating:
