Restaurant refurb very good. Staff very pleasant. We had a family meal for 11. We found chicken wings and potato wedges very over cooked and dark brown. Most of the fried food was overlooked but not quite so badly as the chicken wings. The fish pie was burned to a crisp and dry and horrid. My chicken Tikka was excellent and so was the Nan bread. I was rather disappointed as my family had said how great it was and suggested going there. They need someone who can fry! Rating:

The interior has been improved significantly and it has the makings of an excellent gastro experience. Unfortunately the food was poor, over cooked, served warm on cold plates, and uninspiring. Quality was poor and meat was cheap. We were very disappointed. What a shame as it looks great and feels great........untl the food arrives. I do hope they improve the quality of the food as this could be one of the better eateries in town. Rating:

Couldn't book as all bookable tables were full, but advised to on phone to 'just turn up' as tables are reserved for 'walk ins' ... so turned up and got a table straight away even though it was very busy! Staff were very friendly and professional, service was prompt, food was reasonable pub grub and price was GREAT ... less than £10 a head for a main course! Refurb looks fab. Rating:

What a wonderful local pub, an amazing redevelopment and fantastic decor with a superb attention to detail,(unrecognisable from the previous pub!) The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The menu is well thought out and extremely competitive with nothing over a tenner! A family of six adults dined on a Friday evening and all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and our food. 10/10 Hope the standard will be maintained. Planning a Sunday lunch this weekend !!!!!!!!!!! It's been really nicely refurbished with a ship theme throughout. The food was good pub grub, the staff were friendly and eager to please, and it wasn't expensive. We will definitely be back there with the kids to try their Sunday roast very soon! Rating:

Hubby and I had lunch today. Great pub grub, huge portions and very well priced, all mains under £10, starters under £5. Even the drinks were on average a £1 cheaper than the high street eateries. Beautifully decorated with a nautical theme with plenty of outdoor seating for the warmer months . Just what Marlow's been waiting for. Rating:
