Claytons - our review
![]() | Claytons [** RECENTLY RE-OPENED JAN 2010 AFTER CLOSURE FOR 2 MONTHS. NEW REVIEW IMMINENT! THE REVIEW BELOW IS BASED ON THE PREVIOUS OWNERSHIP**] A trendy and stylish bar which also serves cocktails and tapas-style food. Has the extra benefit of being one of the few pubs in town with a late licence at weekends. Can get busy on a Friday and Saturday, when the small bar size means queuing for drinks can be tiresome. Tapas are decent, and quite generous portions. Late Licence: Fri and Sat until 2am. 16 Oxford Road, 01628 478774 |

This pub has found itself as the centre of Marlow's nightlife recently, as it's only real competition in terms of numbers is the Chequers. The food is great, and the "waiters" are swift enough, tipping encourages them a fair bit. Those who like their "real beer" should avoid this place with a passion, but its quick and the bouncers are great. Only real problem is the age limit of over 20s. Rating: ![]()
