![]() | The Hand and Flowers (website) West Street, 01628 482277 Our food review: Owner Tom Kerridge has earned the Hand and Flowers a Michelin star - the only one in Marlow. The atmosphere is very cosy - all low beams and candles. The food is simply delicious - I loved the duck and foie gras parfait on toasted brioche starter. Tom has won The Great British Menu TV show 2 years in a row, and both dishes are on the menu here. The 2011 Winner 'Hog Roast' really has to be seen to be believed, and tasted - spectacular stuff. |

After several visits I've not had a bad meal; the food is to a consistently high standard. However for the last 3 visits the service has been painfully slow to the point where I've lost patience and have stopped trying, especially as the staff attitude became surly when I asked (courteously) how much longer I had to wait. I'd still recommend it if you're not in a hurry. Rating:
