Quite a small restaurant, but the quality of food is good, and the do a great takeaway. Menus are available on the website. In their own words:We can seat up to 30 people and we provide an excellent takeaway service with a 10% discount. All the usual favourites are available including crispy aromatic duck with pancakes and shredded beef, and lets not forget the toffee bananas for dessert followed by a pot of jasmine tea to end the evening. An excellent Chinese beer is also available from the selection of bottled beers. From Sunday to Thursday we have a great value three course meal in the restaurant available for 15.00 (8.90 for children under 12 years old) |

The Sun Ya has always been a family-run business and my wife and I have been regular customers for over 30 years.The restaurant was first opened in 1964 by the parents of the present manager. We have always found the staff to be courteous, knowledgeable and attentive, It has been our experience that the food is consistently of a high standard - able to stand comparison with more fashionable Chinese restaurants in London and the suburbs. Also Kim Lai keeps a varied and interesting wine list Why not give the restaurant a visit - I don't think you will be disappointed. Rating:
