The Marlow Bee Festival
June 4 at 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Marlow’s first-ever Bee Festival, organised by Wild Marlow.
Exhibitors will be celebrating bees in all sorts of ways at the event, which takes place on Saturday, 4th June from 10.00 to 3.00 in Higginson Park, adjacent to the community market on The Causeway.
Wild Marlow will showcase its work to support and encourage pollinators in the town, with bee-friendly plants for gardens, talks and demonstrations by High Wycombe Beekeepers’ Association and guided walks around the park with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. Other exhibitors will show a range of bee-themed products, including pottery, books and art, and there will be plenty of activities for children and families.
Wild Marlow has been working with Marlow Town Council to help support bees and pollinators by encouraging more wildflower areas around the town, bee-friendly grass-cutting regimes and a newly adopted pollination policy.
