Country House Hotel set in 65 acres overlooking the River Thames

FUNCTION: To cover all sections of food production in the Kitchen, ensuring guest satisfaction and company standards.


To work in all areas of the Kitchen.
To prepare all food for service.
To do all mise en place.
To assist the Sous Chef in planning and organising all banquets.
To perform other Kitchen supervisory duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
To report anything which is considered a Health & Safety hazard immediately to the Head Chef.
To ensure correct handling of equipment.
To maintain a good attitude and working relationship with colleagues.
To ensure fridges are clean at all times.
To ensure that goods received are put away as soon as they arrive.
To undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested by senior members of staff.
Key Requirements:

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
Skills and Experience
2 years’ experience in a similar role
Professional cooking experience
Fluent in English- both spoken and written
