For the first time in 20 year, Jeroboams are opening outside London.

Since 1985, Jeroboams Wine Merchant has been providing high quality wines and exceptional service to clients across the world including the residents of some of London’s oldest neighbourhoods to whom Jeroboams is more than just a local wine specialist. Incorporating Laytons, our purchasing division, our history stretches back to 1934. It is over these past 90 years that we have crafted the backbone of our business: Excellent customer service and flawless wine knowledge, ensuring that after every interaction, each customer is left satisfied and excited to return.

We’re looking for an experienced retailer with a proven track record of great customer service and sales to join our store team in this exciting phase of Jeroboams’ growth. Skills/Competencies/Experience required:

  • 2 years + working in retail management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent wine knowledge – WSET level 3 minimum
  • Commercial awareness – experience in successfully delivering KPIs
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to plan and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to making decisions to meet the business standards and objectives
  • Ability to solve problems as and when they arise
  • Train, develop and motivate the team

Job Type – Full time 42.5 hours per week over 7 days on a rota basis
