Countdown to Marlow Town Regatta

MARLOW TOWN REGATTA & FESTIVAL

There are less than 3 weeks to go until Marlow’s premier social occasion – Marlow Town Regatta and Festival. And if you havent got them already – tickets are available online or on the gate for all days, which encompass a variety of events as detailed below:

Friday June 10th – Battle of the Bands (19.00-22.00)
Presented in conjunction with Marlow FM 97.5, Marlow’s ‘Battle of the Bands’ where four local bands compete for a trophy and a live showcase on Marlow FM 97.5. Entry at the gate of the  Regatta enclosure £7

Regatta enclosureSaturday June 11th – Marlow Town Regatta (08.00-18.30)
A traditional rowing regatta best viewed from the regatta enclosure on the banks of the Thames in Higginson Park.

It is also possible to reserve parking and picnic spaces on the cricket ground. Bar, food outlets and music in the enclosure.

Outside the enclosure will also be a Craft Fair, Trade and Charity Stalls and the Marlow Showcase.

Sunday June 12th

Sunday is family and festival day with dragon boating during the day, the fabulous Party in the Park during the evening and fireworks at dusk.

Party in the Park – The Overtures(19.30)

This year the Party in the Park features the Overtures, the UK’s greatest 60’s tribute band. They have entertained the stars and supported such great names as Elton John and Lionel Richie.  Last year they played to capacity audiences as they toured the UK and Europe. To be followed by Fireworks

Advance tickets £10, Children 5-10 £5,  under 5’s free
Entry at the gate, £15, Children 5-10 £7.50, under 5’s free
