The Songbirds would like you to join them in the Shelley Theatre for their Summer Concert in aid of The Theodora Children’s Trust . They will be sharing some fabulous tunes for you to enjoy on Sunday 30th June at 7.30pm.
The Group was formed 6 years ago by a band of Danesfield School mothers who approached Sophie Jugé (The Songbirds Musical Director), wanting to sing in a relaxed atmosphere while raising money for local charities and over time have been joined by many new ladies from beyond the school.
The Songbirds meet weekly during term time on Wednesdays at 20:00 – 21:30 at the Marlow Baptist Church, Glade Road, Marlow, Bucks.
They cover vocal technique, sing 3-4 part harmonies and all musical genres. This is very much an inclusive group welcoming all ladies of any standard and experience as long as you have a passion to sing and have fun. There is no audition joining process and the first taster session for new members is free.
