How much is that doggy in the spa window? Barkers opens 5th June

| |

barkers comign soon.. the one with the waggly tail?

But not just a waggly tail – a perfectly coiffured tail, one that has just had a “Conditioning Hydrating Butter Treatment” , or perhaps a “Deep Sea Mud Bath”.

What I’m getting at is that opening on 5th June in Marlow High Street is “Barkers”, an upmarket shop selling dog food, treats, toys and accessories – and it also includes an onsite Spa and Bath House.  It’s a dogs life? Sounds OK to me!!

Barkers will be located at Little Stone House, 88 High Street (ie opposite Cafe Copia)- you might have noticed the hoarding up outside whilst the shop is fitted out.

We have now received the official press release on the opening, so here’s some snippets:

“We’re so excited to be opening our second store in Marlow. Barkers is truly unique, it’s been designed exclusively for dogs, from the way the interior looks, to the products and services on offer. Barkers won’t just be a great store for dogs however, it’ll also be a real hub for the dog-owning community, whether customers are coming to one of our events to meet like-minded local dog owners, or dropping in for a chat about nutrition with our team.”
Barkers will feature an eye-catching community board showcasing local walks, along with dog-friendly places and days out. More destinations will be added to the board as recommendations are made by customers.

Selling a wide selection of natural dog food and treats, chosen for their well-balanced nutrients, organically sourced meat and great taste, the Barkers team will be on hand to advise owners on the right diet for their dog, dependent on age, size and breed.   The store will also offer a unique range of dog accessories sourced from around the world, such as beautiful leather collars and leashes, comfort harnesses, exclusive beds as well as an exciting range of toys to suit the most discerning of dogs.
