This past weekend we enjoyed some glorious weather and on Saturday we also had great fun in Higginson Park with the Marlow May Fayre!
The annual event which raises thousands of pounds for local charities is organised is by Marlow Round Table with support from The Ladies Circle and Marlow FM, so thanks to them and to the other volunteers and display groups who all gave up their time.
The event was packed from start to finish – entertainments in the arena, go karts, pony rides, zorbing, and loads more. Given the weather, the bar and BBQ were more popular than ever, and there was a great atmosphere around the whole park. Towards the end of the event, crowds lined the riverbank to witness the spectacle of the Duck Race – with a £500 first prize up for grabs.
