With most sports in the area winding down for holiday festivities, it’s a short but sweet round-up this week, with the only side in action being Marlow FC. But Marlow Rugby and Rowing Club might have something to help you get back in shape after all that turkey.

Football

There wasn’t to be an early Christmas present for the fans, players and staff of Marlow FC as the Blue’s lost 4-1 away to Chalfont St.Peter.

Marcus Mealing got the only goal for Marlow – but the defeat means that Mark Bartley’s side haven’t won in four games, with back to back defeats coming in the last two weeks.

The Blues now sit 5th in the league table but are only two points off the top and will be looking to get back to winning ways next week against Northwood.
