Good luck to Corazón del Río – opening tomorrow at Bourne End Marina

| |

Corazón del Río, the new tapas restaurant at Bourne End Marina has its soft opening from tomorrow 25th May, followed by the official launch on 1st June.

MyMarlow was invited down to check out the venue and take some photos – it is rare for us to cover places outside of town, but this is so exciting, and so nearby we could not resist checking it out.

Owner, Katrina Turnbull, is an experienced tapas restaurateur and is bringing authentic Spanish cuisine to local diners in a stunning location and venue – the expanded space and decor is beautifully done.

In addition to the impressive interior, the large, first-floor covered terrace has a fab view of the river and countryside, perfect for al-fresco summer dining.

Katrina said “It has been so exciting to see my vision for Corazón del Río come to life and the restaurant’s new interior really does reflect the beautiful riverside location.  We are beyond excited to be opening at long last and welcoming people into the restaurant; I can’t wait to meet the locals and share our fabulous new menu.”

Katrina also said that she wants Corazón del Río to become an integral part of the local community, and plans to host foodie events too, such as ham carving and cava nights!

Tamra Booth, Managing Director of Landlord Sorbon Estates said: “It was important to us to find the right tenant for this location and Katrina stood out from the very beginning with her experience and passion.  We wish Katrina good luck in her latest culinary adventure and we are sure her vision will be wholeheartedly welcomed by local residents and visitors!”

At MyMarlow, we wish Katrina and the team all the best for their opening!! To find out more and to book your table, visit www. https://www.corazondelrio.co.uk/
