Lieviti – opens today for takeaway

| |

Lieviti opened today on Spittal Street in Marlow – much delayed due to covid lockdowns of course. MyMarlow popped in to chat with business owners Luca Sanna (of Satollo) and Fabrizio and Roger Conti just before the opening.

Initially open for Click & Collect takeaway pizza orders (www.lieviti.co.uk) , but there is more to come….

In around a month’s time, Lieviti will fully open for dining-in pizza and pasta. In addition it will function as a bar on Fridays and Saturdays later into the night, offering music, cocktails and a late-night menu inspired bycicchetti’ – an Italian version of tapas/small plate dishes. We will of course be updating you when Lieviti is fully open – which we await with excitement!

Lieviti is described as an ” osteria-pizzeria” , with an Osteria being a type of small regional restaurant – usually an informal place, with the focus on local and seasonal ingredients in regional recipes. Luca told us that Lieveti will be a contemporary version of this concept.

Luca also said that Lieviti is sourcing ingredients like meat and eggs from local producers, and importing cheese and other produce from Italy ” All of our dishes, from our artisanal pizza to our fresh pasta are crafted on-site using quality, seasonal ingredients. We are passionate about the quality and the origins of all the ingredients used in our dishes – working closely with our local and Italian suppliers to carefully select the freshest and highest quality seasonal ingredients and our menu changes regularly to reflect this.”
