Yesterday afternoon, Marlow FC secured promotion in the Isthmian League South Central play off!
The 3-1 victory over Leatherhead was at Oak Tree Road and had an attendance of 1,589. No goals in the first half, but then Jordi Ndozid, Louis Rogers and Dawid Rogalski all scored from corners within the space of 10 minutes in the second half – it was an incredible 10 minutes!
Leatherhead managing to pull one back on the 87th minute, but at the full time whistle celebrations erupted on the pitch among the Marlow team, management, coaches and support staff .. and overjoyed supporters streamed onto the pitch to share in the celebrations.
What a way to finally secure promotion, well done Marlow, a stunning achievement by manager Mark Bartley and the whole squad – we are all immensely proud!!
