Marlow’s Mayor Champions Wild Marlow and Brighter Futures Together

| |

The Mayor of Marlow Town Council, Cllr Muryel Boulay, is pleased to announce she has chosen to support Wild Marlow and Brighter Futures Together. Each year, the Mayor selects local causes to support, helping to raise awareness and vital funds. This year’s chosen organisations reflect a strong commitment to both environmental sustainability and the wellbeing of young people. Together, they support the present and future of Marlow’s community, nurturing the young and protecting the environment they call home.

Wild Marlow is a volunteer-run community group working to protect wildlife and biodiversity in the Marlow area. Relying solely on donations, memberships, and grants, the group promotes conservation through education, practical action, and community engagement. Brighter Futures Together is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company and social enterprise supporting youth mental health across the Thames Valley. All profits go directly into delivering projects and services that build resilience and wellbeing in young people.

The Mayor says “I’m delighted to support these two inspiring organisations. Both make a real difference in our community, and I look forward to highlighting their incredible work over the coming year.”

Fundraising initiatives will be held throughout the year to benefit both organisations, and local residents and businesses are encouraged to get involved.
