Marlow Residents Raise in Excess of £30,000 for the Poppy Appeal

Although the Marlow Royal British Legion Club Ltd. has now closed, the Royal British Legion Marlow Branch charity continues—strong, active, and committed to serving our community.

The AGM of the RBL Marlow Branch was held last Wednesday, and Suzanne Brown was elected as the new Chair. Shaun and Barbara Murphy retired from the committee, and were thanked for an incredible 15 years of service.

The Marlow Branch Committee also issued a statement regarding the amazing fundraising efforts this year:

“Thanks to the incredible dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of the Marlow community, we’ve already raised over £30,000 for the Poppy Appeal this year. Following this fantastic achievement, our elected Branch committee, will continue driving our mission to support the local Armed Forces community.

Our Branch Community Support Officer has also provided vital welfare assistance to over 30 veterans in Marlow in recent years, ensuring that they and their families receive the support they need.

Thank you for your continued support.”
