Break the Mould: a mould making and resin pouring workshop

Time:
-
Location:
Nook, Crown Lane

Why Break the Mould? Because you’re going to make your own mould and then break it to get your unique piece out!

I’ll show you how to make a light switch surround, jewellery dish or photo frame using modelling clay and seashells to create your moulds – but you’re welcome to go wild and do your own thing.

Join me for a fun, creative, and experimental workshop and cast two gorgeous pieces with Jesmonite.

Jesmonite is a versatile, professional quality non-toxic eco-resin that cures with a beautiful stone-like finish and offers great design possibilities for homewares.

Learn to:

Sculpt your own moulds from modelling clay
Mix and pigment Jesmonite AC100 to create your own unique colour palette and cast your pieces.
Finish your pieces so they’re ready to use
This workshop is suitable for beginners but is also a great follow-on from Creative Casting with Jesmonite where we use ready-made moulds.
