Discovering Harleyford for the first time is like uncovering a hidden treasure! Beautifully crafted in a natural downland setting, the 6,903 yard par 72 course is both challenging and rewarding to players of all levels.
The history of the estate dates back to the 12th century and is designated as “an area of outstanding beauty”. The clubhouse has been developed on a theme from the Victorian farm buildings and provides stunning facilities for many social occasions.
Marlow Sailing Club

Marlow Sailing Club is a small, friendly RYA-affiliated dinghy sailing club based on the Berkshire bank of the River Thames, around two miles upstream of Marlow. The club welcomes sailors of all experience levels, with an emphasis on relaxed family sailing, regular race days and opportunities for newcomers to try sailing using club boats. Facilities include a clubhouse, changing rooms, boat storage, river frontage and a slipway, with organised sailing supported by experienced members.

Marlow Bowls Club

Marlow Bowls Club is a friendly and welcoming lawn bowls club based in Higginson Park, close to the River Thames. Founded in 1919, the club plays on a six-rink natural green from mid-April to mid-September and welcomes both new and experienced bowlers, with free coaching available for those who would like to try the sport. It also has an active short mat bowls section during the winter months, offering sociable roll-ups and competitions from October to March.

Marlow Park Cricket Club

Marlow Park Cricket Club is a friendly, non-league cricket club based in Higginson Park, beside the River Thames in the heart of Marlow. The club plays home matches on Saturdays and Sundays through the season, offering sociable but competitive cricket in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It welcomes players of all abilities, has junior training for younger children, and is also valued for its clubhouse, bar, riverside setting and community feel.

Marlow Canoe Club

Marlow Canoe Club is a welcoming, inclusive paddling club based underneath Marlow Bridge, with around 300 adult and family members. The club offers a wide range of activities for different abilities and interests, from relaxed social paddles on the Thames to racing, backwater trips, rapids and sea paddling. With its riverside base at The Causeway and a strong community feel, it provides opportunities for both experienced paddlers and those looking to get involved in canoeing or kayaking locally.

Marlow Cricket Club

Marlow Cricket Club is one of Buckinghamshire’s oldest cricket clubs, founded in 1829 and based at Marlow Sports Club on Pound Lane. The club offers cricket for adults, juniors, women and girls, with opportunities ranging from social and friendly cricket to competitive league matches, coaching and junior development. Marlow Football Club

Marlow FC is a historic, community-owned football club based at the Alfred Davis Memorial Ground on Oak Tree Road. Founded in 1870, it is one of the oldest football clubs in England and has a notable FA Cup heritage, having entered the competition from its earliest years. The club runs senior men’s football along with under-18s, ladies, reserves, development and junior football, providing opportunities for players and supporters across the local community.

Marlow Hockey Club

Marlow Hockey Club is a well-established community hockey club based at Marlow Sports Club on Pound Lane. The club runs a range of teams for men, women and younger players, with opportunities for both competitive hockey and player development. Its first teams play at National League level, while the wider club welcomes players of different ages and abilities, supported by regular training, fixtures, social activity and a strong local club structure.

Marlow Riders

Marlow Riders is a friendly social road cycling club based at Marlow Sports Club and riding through the Chilterns. Established in 2010, the club welcomes riders of different abilities, with regular Saturday morning rides organised into speed groups, plus midweek rides and occasional overseas trips. The focus is on sociable cycling rather than racing, with coffee stops, a strong community feel and support for local charities through its annual Red Kite Ride.

Marlow Rifle and Pistol Club

Marlow Rifle & Pistol Club is one of the UK’s longest-established target shooting clubs, founded in 1907 and based at its own heated six-lane, 25-yard indoor range. The club offers a range of target shooting disciplines, including precision rifle, gallery rifle and pistol, precision airguns, archery and full-bore rifle, with training and induction provided for new members. It has a strong emphasis on safety, coaching and competitive shooting, with members taking part in county, national and international events.

Marlow Rowing Club

Marlow Rowing Club is a historic and active rowing club based on the River Thames at Marlow Bridge Lane. Founded in 1871, it offers rowing and sculling for a wide range of ages and abilities, from juniors and beginners through to competitive athletes. Marlow Rugby Union Football Club is a thriving community rugby club offering rugby for all ages and abilities, from minis and youth teams through to senior men’s, ladies, veterans, girls’ rugby and touch rugby. Marlow Striders

Marlow Striders is a friendly, active running club based at Marlow Sports Club, welcoming adults of all running abilities. Founded in 1989, the club has more than 250 members and is affiliated to England Athletics, offering regular Tuesday and Thursday evening runs, Friday track sessions and weekend longer runs. The club combines structured training with a strong social side, and also organises local events including the Marlow Half Marathon and Marlow 7.

Marlow Water Ski Club

Marlow Water Ski Club is a small, friendly members’ club based at Fieldhouse Lane in Marlow, bringing together people who enjoy water skiing and wakeboarding. Established in 1963 and run by members on a non-profit basis, the club welcomes both experienced skiers and complete beginners, with an emphasis on having fun in a warm and supportive setting. The club operates seasonally, mainly from April to October, with weekend, public holiday and evening sessions depending on the time of year and weather.

Marlow Bowls Club
Marlow Bowls Club has been representative of mainstream bowls in Bucks for more than 90 years . Marlow is famous for its outdoor bowling season which commences mid-April through the summer until mid-September, and the idyllic setting is a treat for long established and new bowlers alike. Once the summer has passed then the extremely popular short-mat bowling season begins, as the superbly equipped clubhouse becomes a haven for a winter session of indoor bowling. We often take in new members through the year but have public Open Days during the early part of May which gives everyone an opportunity to try the sport, bowling is an absorbing game and hope that you will enjoy the benefits of bowling at Marlow for many years to come. Marlow Canoe Club
Marlow Canoe Club is a medium sized (around 150 members) club which caters for followers of just about every branch of recreational canoeing, including white water, sea touring, inland touring, surfing, canoe polo and coaching. There are also a few members who take competitive canoeing (in various disciplines) seriously. The club house is situated on the North bank of the River Thames (in Buckinghamshire), directly under Marlow Bridge. It can be accessed easily from the towpath.www.marlowcc.org.uk
Marlow Park Cricket Club
Our ground is the envy of many teams that we play against, and it is wonderful to see lots of spectators come and watch us on sunny afternoons during the summer.
We are a non-league cricket club offering friendly but competitive cricket played in a spirit of friendship and fun. Located in the heart of Marlow, on the Thames riverbank, our ground is open to large public crowds and some of the best scenery seen from a cricket square.
Marlow Park play most Saturday and Sunday from our home ground throughout the season, only playing against teams that we have a long running association with or who are looking to build one.

Marlow Cricket Club
Marlow Cricket Club are one of the leading clubs in Buckinghamshire, home to three Thames Valley League Sides, friendly cricket and a thriving colts section. The ground is situated in Pound Lane, Marlow, where it can boast some of the best facilities in southern England. The clubs first XI play in the top division of the Morrant Thames Valley Cricket League. While the second and third XI`s compete lower down in divisions 3 and 7. Sundays offer the chance to play against local side in friendly games. Marlow Football Club

Marlow Football Club play in the Bostik Football League – South Central Division, at the Alfred Davis Ground, Oak Tree Road. The club has a long and interesting history, having formed in 1870 and was one of the original entrants in the first F.A Cup competition, reaching the semi-finals in 1882 where they lost out to eventual winners Old Etonians 0-5 at the Oval.

Marlow Riders (Cycling)
We are an inclusive club, we provide encouragement for those new to the delights of cycling in a group, and a framework for more experienced riders to improve and progress. At Marlow Riders there is pretty much something for everyone. Our focus is safety and enjoyment, with a strong social element, and nobody gets left behind. We love a cake and coffee stop –but only after we earned it!! Marlow Rifle & Pistol Club
MRPC is one of the longest established clubs in the South of England, having celebrated our centenary in 2007. We have our own heated and well ventilated 6 lane, 25 yard indoor range at the Court Garden Leisure Centre. The range is approved for the shooting of .22 and most pistol calibres. It has recently been refurbished and re-equipped to provide customized lighting conditions for each shooting discipline. In addition the range is registered as a .22 shooting gallery, which means that we can hold regular open days when members of the public can shoot under supervision. We also shoot outdoors throughout the year at local ranges and at Bisley. The range is available for use by club members between 9.a.m. and 10.30 p.m. 7 days per week. Marlow Rowing Club
Based in Marlow-on-Thames and easily accessible from the M4 and M40, Marlow Rowing Club welcomes members from a wide area. The club has busy squads for men, women, junior boys, girls and veterans, and organises or helps run various rowing events. Marlow Sailing Club
We are an RYA affiliated dinghy-sailing club located on the Berkshire bank of the River Thames, approximately two miles upstream of Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Between the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey and Temple Lock, access is by road from Temple Lane. Our clubhouse offers excellent facilities, with separate changing rooms and showers, a kitchen area and meeting room. Marlow Water Ski Club
Established in the early 1960’s by a group of enthusiastic skiers, and to this day it has always been run by the members for the members on a non-profit making basis. A small friendly club with less than 60 members including families and children, we particularly encourage younger members.
