Would you like to audition for our Aladdin pantomime?
Absolutely no experience necessary.
Rehearsals usually take place on Friday and Sunday evenings, 7.30 - 9.30pm and our pantomime will be from the 2nd - 9th January 2011.

MarlowFM Music Festival 2010
Following on from the success of last year's one day MarlowFM Music Festival in Riley Park, this year should prove to be even bigger and better. There will be a free concert running from 10am through to 6pm in Riley Park followed by a limited ticketed evening indoor concert in the theatre at Sir William Borlase's Grammar School from 7.30pm onwards. The evening concert will be limited to around 220 people so ordering tickets in advance to guarantee a place is recommended.

Free Tour of a National Monument near Marlow 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The Marlow Society Local History Group is providing a rare opportunity to take a free tour of a Protected National Monument on Heritage Day, Sunday 12 September, 2010. This is at Danesfield, just five miles from Marlow on the Henley Road. This area includes an Iron Age hillfort and a succession of wonderful houses, the latest of which is now the Grade 2 listed Danesfield Hotel, which had an amazing history during World War Two. Come and learn all about it. Tours start at 2pm until 4pm. The tours take about an hour and include a few hilly areas, so walking shoes are essential.

Annual Adult Dragon Boat Championships

Marlow Archaeological Society Talk: ‘The Changing Face of Death’ by Julian Richards
On this, his 4th visit to MAS, archaeologist and broadcaster Julian Richards will examine the changing ways in which our ancestors chose to dispose of their dead. He will show how meaning and beliefs can be deduced from excavated remains and how science allows us to reconstruct past lives from ancient bones, such as he demonstrated in Meet the Ancestors.

The BBO Big Band features 5 Saxes, 4 Trumpets, 4 Trombones, Piano, Bass, Guitar and Drums, along with both Female and Male vocalists.
The sound of classic swing along with a smattering of more contemporary jazz can be heard at our regular public concert on the last Thursday of each month at the Royal British Legion Club, Station Approach.
