Marlow Community Market 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

The indoor market, organised by Transition Town Marlow, is a hub for local producers and provides local customers with a good deal!

A mixture of stall-holders:  meat, vegetables, bread, cakes and all sorts of other produce from small local suppliers - plus local artists and craftspeople.

The market aims to be plastic-bag free, so please bring your own.

We are a friendly and fun class and welcome people of all abilities (aged 11 to adult) who are looking to get in shape and build their confidence.  We are in the Marlow Bottom Village Hall every Sunday from 10:15am to 11:15am, next to the Barn Club, just opposite the One Stop Shop on the main road.

Just wear tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt (£9 non-members, £7 members).

Crown and Tiara Walk 10:00 AM

Enjoy a day with all the family and take part in our Crown and Tiara Walk in Great Windsor Park. The event will start and finish at Windsor Football Club, with registration from 10am and walk starting at 10.30am.
You can either do a 4 mile or 8 mile walk. The 4 mile walk is great for those with younger families and accessible by 3-wheeler or off road buggies.

Each child will get a treasure map to search for treasure along the way. The 8 miler is more of a challenge and a mixture of pathways and footpaths.

Entry fee: Adults - £15, Children 5-16 years - £10, Children under 5 - Free
All money raised will go directly towards providing respite holidays and practical support to seriously-ill children and their families.

Bucks Open Studios returns this year starting early Summer. Taking place from the 6th- 21st June 2015. Showcasing an array of over 500 local artists, it is a fantastic opportunity to admire and appreciate our local creative talent of Bucks. The visual arts event offers the opportunity to visit exhibitions, demonstrations and hands-on workshops.

Bucks Open Studios

Now in its 30th year, Bucks Open Studios is the largest visual arts event in Buckinghamshire and one of the largest in the country, and it will take place from 6th-21st June 2015

Over 500 artists and makers from the county including painters, glass workers, basket weavers, metal workers, wood turners, jewellery makers, book makers, print makers and silk makers will be opening their studios to the public for free and showcasing their talent through demonstrations, exhibitions and workshops.

Rainbow Run High Wycombe 10:00 AM

Your local hospice, Helen & Douglas House, are hosting a Rainbow Run at The Rye, High Wycombe on Saturday 6th June, 11am to raise funds to support terminally ill children, young adults and their families. The Rainbow Run involves getting dressed up in white and running, walking or wheeling 3K whilst getting showered with different colours of powdered paint so you finish up all the colours of the rainbow!

Marlow FM Radio run

Radio Run - Marlow FM’s exciting 10K course that will take the route of the scenic Thames Path; through Hurley before finishing back in Higginson Park. The bridges over the river are the only ‘hills’ and the primary surface is the multi-terrain Thames Path. There is a small amount of road. Runners will be timed by chip! The race starts and Finishes in Higginson Park; the course is measured by GPS and run under ARC rules.

Marlow Sports Club Mid-Summer Ball

Tickets are £55 and include a welcome drink of Sangria accompanied by a selection of Tapas whilst Tomas our Flamenco guitarist transports us across to Spain. Once seated, you will enjoy a Paella, flat bread and green salad followed by a delicious dessert of Jerez cream with raspberries and Tuiles biscuits or chocolate, chestnut and almond cake.

Spanish Dancers will entertain as the meal draws to an end, when it will be your turn to bid on a live auction full of fabulous prizes and then an opportunity awaits to dance the night away to the tunes of our DJ.

A 24 hour team relay will kick things off on Friday 19th June at 7pm until Saturday June 20th June 7pm.All abilities welcome from walkers,running clubs, businesses and anyone who can field a team to last 24 hours. Relay exchanges will be every 30 mins.

We are a friendly and fun class and welcome people of all abilities (aged 11 to adult) who are looking to get in shape and build their confidence.  We are in the Marlow Bottom Village Hall every Sunday from 10:15am to 11:15am, next to the Barn Club, just opposite the One Stop Shop on the main road.

Just wear tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt (£9 non-members, £7 members).

Women's Tour of Britain - Stage 5 starts in Marlow

On Sunday 21 June 2015, Marlow will host the start of the final stage of the Women's Tour of Britain cycling event.  There will be a cycling festival taking place in Higginson Park on the same day with lots of free activities for the whole family to take part in.

Marlow Sprint Triathlon - F3 Events

This is the 7th year of the Marlow Sprint & Olympic Distance Triathlon, a triathlon consisting of a river swim, cycling and running. 

The event is open to all levels of participant and encourages first time triathletes to the event. 

The Swim course for the Olympic Distance is a 1500 metre one lap course and for the Sprint Distance it is a 750 metre half lap course in the River Thames. The Bike course for the Olympic Distance is 37km and only has 2 main hills, other wise it is flat and fast. The Sprint Distance is 24.5km - It uses the Henley/ Marlow Road which completely out and back.  

The Run course for the Olympic Distance is a 2 Lap 5km route on Tarmac and Grass Footpaths and meanders back towards Marlow and into the finish at Higginson Park from the river tow path. The Sprint Distance is just a 1 Lap 5km route.
