 | Cafe In the Park (website) Higginson Park, 01628 487671 Our food review: A prime location just near the entrance to Higginson Park, used by many for a quick coffee and cake... but also serves up some decent more substantial items. A favourite of mine is the mezze platter with beef kofta- which achieves the considerable task of filling me up. Lovely cakes too! Breakfast options are covered in our special breakfast review page. DETAILS: Opening hours: Seven days a week 9am-5pm - staying open until 6pm dependent on demand, Outdoor seating: Yes-plenty, Children welcome: Next to the playground, highchairs, varied kids menu, gluten free options. All kids meals come with a piece of fruit. Baby changing - available in the council toilets adjacent to the caf?Wifi-free to customers. Disabled access: Yes In their own words:We are passionate about food and its provenance. Foods needs to taste good and be good for you. To us that means it should be fresh, full of great ingredients and be free from the nasties that are so common in much of the food eaten today. |

Excellent!!! The quality of the food is outstanding (albeit a tiny bit more adult friendly than child). We visit the park regularly and more often than not make sure we have time to stop at the cafe!! Rating:
