O'Donoghues - our review
![]() | O'Donoghues Previously the Carpenters Arms, reopened in April 2009 as O'Donoghues Irish Bar. It's been spruced up inside... and is basically a small pub with a bar, a few barrels which serve as tables and a big TV for the sports. I received a friendly welcome on my first visit, and there was certainly a good atmosphere in the place... probably still full of the same locals that always kept the Carpenters busy. 5 Spittal Street, (tbc) |

Great little find, genuine welcome from the owners (Eileen OŽDonoghue from Killarney)A good place to watch sports on a weekend or network "early doors" No food served but 3 good Real Ales and great Guinness. Live Music session every Thursday. WeŽll be back. Rating: ![]()

Great welcome, good selection of beers and lagers (including Peroni) Good place to watch Rugby & Football, Clean andtidy, a proper pub. Not a food pub but pies and pasties with the sport were good. Will return. Rating: ![]()
