Rock 4 Research will be a night that everyone can enjoy but with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK. Everyone involved in the night is doing so for free and event sponsors Gabbitas Robins are paying for the printing of flyers, poster, ads etc. ensuring every penny raised will go straight to Cancer Research UK.
The event will be held at ill be held at the Marlow British Legion on 30th July 2011. Tickets are £10.00 a head and you should be guaranteed of a good night out, given the line up.
There will be three bands playing on the night starting with Elizabeth Fulton, then top local band Elements and the grand finale a Take That tribute act which is one of the best in the country, plus a stand up comic.
During the evening there will be an auction, which currently includes some amazing prizes that “money can’t buy”.. until now:
- A day in the kitchen at Michelin starred restaurant The Hand and Flowers with celebrity chef and Winner of BBC s Great British Menu 2010 and 2011 Tom Kerridge
- A championship Manager experience with Brian McDermott (Reading F.C Manager) and his team
- A dinner party for 6 people in your own home to include a three course meal prepared by a top chef and a front of house waiter (food and wine is included in this) kindly donated by The Royal Oak. For the auction they will also be taking silent bids prior to the event.
There will be a raffle for prizes including a spa day experience, nights in hotels, meals, flowers, champagne. Tickets for the raffle are £2.00 each.
All proceeds will be going to Cancer Research UK and you are guaranteed a good night with friends and/or family all in the name of charity.
The tickets are are limited and available prior to the event from Marlow Information Centre on Institute Road, Westmount Music in Marlow Bottom, The British Legion and Gabbitas Robins solicitors in West Street. Alternately via facebook you can arrange sale and pick up.
