Marlow Fire Station is holding a family fun day to raise money for two charities on Saturday 11 October 2014.
The event, which will be supporting The Fire Fighters Charity and Operation Florian, will take place from 10am to 4pm.
Firefighters are organising a number of activities, and Fireman Sam will be there too.
There will also be a carefully-controlled demonstration showing how not to put out a fire involving a pan of cooking oil, and a chance to see how firefighters release someone who is trapped in a vehicle after being involved in a collision.
The Fire Fighters Charity provides support and assistance to serving and retired fire service staff and their dependants. Operation Florian provides equipment and training to improve firefighting and rescue capabilities for communities in need all over the world.
Marlow Fire Station is in Parkway, Marlow, SL7 1RA (ie near the Little Marlow/Bypass roundabout!)
