Firework Night Celebration  at Crowne Plaza

In the past this was a deservedly popular event – but with the new owners – it’s not happening this year!

Cookham scouts bonfire and fireworks night  4th Nov 2017

Has an *actual* bonfire! Details etc can be found on the website here.

Downley Bonfire and Torchlight Procession

We mention this as another nearby event taking place on the actual 5th November, and looks a bit different.  See Facebook event page. No fireworks involved, midn you, but it does sound like a proper traditional bonfire: Meet at Commonside near the Village Hall to purchase your torch (£2 each) and march across the Common to the bonfire and throw the torch on the fire. Food and drink available by Downley Dynamos. No Fireworks. Children must be supervised.”
