Downley Bonfire and Torchlight Procession
We mention this as another nearby event taking place on the actual 5th November, and looks a bit different. See Facebook event page. No fireworks involved, midn you, but it does sound like a proper traditional bonfire: “Meet at Commonside near the Village Hall to purchase your torch (£2 each) and march across the Common to the bonfire and throw the torch on the fire. Food and drink available by Downley Dynamos. No Fireworks. Children must be supervised.”
