Tom Kerridge’s Coach earns a Michelin Star!

| |

It was announced today that Tom Kerridge’s The Coach, led by Nick Beardshaw and head chef Tom De Keyser, has been awarded a Michelin Star, as a new entry into the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2018.

The Coach opened in 2014 and is open seven days a week, from early morning through to late evening, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with simple food offerings and refreshments to fill the gaps in between.  It is non-bookable with a large open kitchen enabling the chefs and restaurant team to interact with guests.

Our current favourites on the menu include Crispy Pig’s Head with Celeriac and Apple, and Venison Chilli with Red Wine, Chocolate and Toasted Rice Cream. There is a Sunday roast, featuring a rotisserie meat of the day served with Yorkshire puddings and trimmings, and a daily breakfast menu including Staffordshire Oat Cakes with Bacon and Cheese.

Tom Kerridge says – “I am over the moon for my wonderful team at The Coach. Chef Nick and the whole crew front and back of house work tirelessly every day to provide a welcoming, neighbourhood place.”
