A very GOOD result for Little Marlow School

| | ,

A hearty MyMarlow congratulations to Little Marlow School who are celebrating following their recent Ofsted visit which confirmed that they continue to be a ‘GOOD’ school.

The school was praised by Ofsted as a welcoming and inclusive community with a ‘strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural provision’. The inspector reported that teaching is good and that ‘pupils are currently making good progress in reading, writing and mathematics throughout the school’.

We know how wonderful our children are, but it was lovely to hear the inspector agree that our pupils are ‘confident, articulate and well mannered’.

– Tanya Morris, Head of School

Little Marlow CE School is a small, traditional infant school which is federated with Holy Trinity CE School in Marlow. Children attend from a wide catchment area including Marlow, Bourne End and High Wycombe.

“A family where we love, learn, grow and respect”

“We aim to give the children the best possible start in a caring, warm yet academically challenging environment. It’s important that they are ready to transition from Little Marlow School to Holy Trinity in Year 3 as resilient, confident and eager learners”, Mrs Morris explains.

Little Marlow School has seen plenty of change in the last five years and has overcome any hurdles and grown ever stronger. This glowing Ofsted inspection result is certainly a testament to the hard work, commitment and resilience of the staff, pupils and school leaders who make up the Little Marlow family. Very well deserved!
