Marlow Ladies football club

Marlow Ladies started with a Facebook post to “It’s a Marlow Thing” in January asking if any ladies were interested in playing football.  At the time there was no Marlow Ladies team.  Since January we have participated in the FA Peoples Cup in Milton Keynes and have joined a 6-a-side league.

Training is on a Thursday at The Redgrave Sports Centre (astroturf) from 7-8pm.
We have a variety of ladies, different ages, skill and fitness but we all have fun and exercise!

We are now affiliated with Marlow FC Youth, since their chairman Kevin Dobson kindly reached out and took us under his wing. (Marlow FC Youth has 43 teams, from u7- u16, inclusive, an u12 girls team, and now a new ladies team – one of the largest youth set-ups in the area)

We are sponsored by a local Marlow company called Audio Visual Intelligence – and very grateful for their support.

We all bonded really quickly.  Women’s football is getting bigger and bigger and several of us are flying out to France in the Summer to watch the England Ladies play in the World Cup.

Fancy joining the fun?

If there are any ladies out there that want to seriously have fun then come along to training (£5 pp per session). You don’t have to participate in games if you do not want to.
Alternatively, just come and say “hi” after training at The Old Brewery in Marlow. We look forward to meeting you!

A few photos from a recent training session are below.
