More Kids Stuff this year…
This year, there is more on offer for visitors coming along with children. Firefly Events will be bringing their cinema tent with comfy beanbags to show some family favourites. There will also be extra activities to keep the children entertained, as below.
Cookies Kitchen are so excited to be giving children the opportunity to be inspired in the kitchen, by bringing a series of cooking sessions to Pub in the Park. Children will have the chance to make their very own rainbow salad pots and decorate cupcakes with these specialists in children’s cookery.
There will also be a chance to get creative with arts, crafts and nature activities. Have you ever made a bee-bomb? Or your own beaded dragonfly? Come along and have a go.
Anne Stairmand, hilarious children’s writer who has published six books ranging from 3-11 years old will be in attendance. Anne will be doing an activity called Build Your Own Dragon based on one of the books – Desmond’s Dragon. Anne will also be promoting her new book “The Idiot Family on Holiday” and be signing all her books at a slightly reduced price.
Or why not enjoy some good old-fashioned family time with traditional giant outdoor games such as Connect4, quoits, Jenga and Naughts & Crosses
