We have received the following official word from Rebellion, confirming their highest ever donation level, raising a staggering £65,000 for local hospital charity Scannappeal. Well done to ALL involved, including Rebellion staff and everyone who donated!

From Rebellion:

Last weekend Rebellion had their 2 yearly charity event and are thrilled to announce that they beat their target and raised in excess of £65,000. All the monies will be going to the Scannappeal local hospital charity, based at Wycombe Hospital.

With the 4500 people attending, the sun shining, free beer and 6 bands playing over the course of the weekend, the Rebellion Charity weekend was a great success.

The aim of the free weekend is to say thank you to all our customers, whether they drink Rebellion at home or in the pub and raise as much as we can for the local hospital charity, who focus on raising money to purchase specialist heart and cancer scanning equipment plus their most recent appeal for specialist MRI scanners.

Over the past 7 Charity Open Weekends, Rebellion have now raised just under £300,000 for this fantastic local hospital charity.

As always, the event is entirely free and the money is raised from customers donating whilst at the event and staff donations, who are working the event.

A huge thank you to all those who gave and our staff who work tirelessly to set up and run this event, in order to raise such a fantastic amount for Scannappeal, plus our landlord, The Jamesons, without whose help the event would not happen and finally to our neighbours, who bear with us during the inevitable disruption an event like this can cause.
