The Ivy Marlow Garden celebrates Regatta Season

| | ,

In celebration of this summer’s Regatta Season, The Ivy Marlow Garden has created a bespoke rosé wine menu, available until Sunday, 28 July. Highlighting a selection of the best of British wines, the menu has been curated  for The Ivy Marlow Garden, and features a diverse range of wines including both sparkling and cocktail variations.

Available throughout both the Marlow and Henley Regattas and until the end of July, the sparkling rosé menu includes ‘Coates & Seely Brut Rosé’ (£13.50 a glass) from Hampshire, combining aromas of cranberries and strawberries, the ‘Denbies Stepping Stone Rosé’ (from £11.00) with hints of red forest fruits and strawberries for a fuller, creamier taste.

During our recent visit, our food included the sublime Duck Liver Parfait with a pear and ginger compote and toasted brioche, plus one of the daily specials – a very impressive Fish Parmentier, complete with a scallop in its shell. We paired this with the delicious Coates and Seely Brut Rose mentioned above… plus and the ‘Like A Red, Red Rose’ cocktail (£13.35), which combines Coates & Seeley Brut Rosé, Cherry Heering, Saliza Amaretto, and garnished with a red rose petal – see main photo above.  The cocktail was amazing – we could certainly spend a summer’s afternoon on those!

In further celebration of the Regatta Season, the brasserie had unveiled a stunning floral archway at the entrance, complete with an array of seasonal flowers and rowing oars, popping up outside the restaurant until the end of July!

So, not long left but there is still time to book in and make the most of these seasonal specials 🙂
