Oysters Fish & Chips in Marlow Bottom has been named as one of the UK’s 50 Best Fish & Chip Takeaways 19/2020 – the only chip shop in Buckinghamshire to make the prestigious list.
The accolade follows an extensive search by leading trade publication Fry Magazine. To make the 50 Best, Oysters Fish & Chips had to impress a mystery diner who visited unannounced and marked the chippy on over 40 aspects of their business from the quality of the food and customer service to cleanliness and value for money.
Oysters Fish & Chips scored an impressive 97% with the mystery diner particularly praising the Quality of the traditionally wrapped Fish & Chips, with a clean modern looking shop and ample parking.
“The chips were perfect, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside as proper chips should be,” was just one of the positive comments alongside customer service with the mystery diner noting: “The staff were friendly and efficient in their service.”
