Well… what a weekend that was! The Comedy Weekender proved to be a huge success, with headliners John Bishop, Russell Howard, Simon Amstell and Al Murray, great support acts and Mark Watson hosting …. hard to believe something like this took place in the local park in our little town! Saturday night is worth an extra mention, given the clash with the England vs Ukraine match. In the end, goals were shown on the big screen, and at the end Tom O’Dell came on as a surprise guest to perform – quite a night all round!
The event was organised by the same team behind Pub in the Park, and the recent Alfresco Theatre shows between Marlow and Henley.
