New restaurant coming soon – Megan’s!

| |

Independent family-friendly restaurant Megan’s is set to open in Marlow, in the previous Prezzo location. This looks like a great addition to Marlow, bringing something different on the food front – and making full use of the improved outside area in Liston Court. They serve “Mediterranean-influenced, chef-made dishes, created by our Turkish Exec Head Chef, Sercan, using the highest quality ingredients.”, and click here for an example menu from one of the current venues.

We have all the info direct from the owners, so here we go:

Independently-owned restaurant brand Megan’s is set to open its latest restaurant in Marlow High Street.

Megan’s will bring its unique neighbourhood vibe to the town, along with its Mediterranean-influenced menu and interiors.

Located on Marlow High Street with an al fresco dining area that opens out onto the newly refurbished Liston Court, the dog-friendly, homely, and welcoming ambience of Megan’s will fit seamlessly within the beautiful, red-brick courtyard’s characterful environment.

Ideally positioned for those exploring the busy high street and offering brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails, the Megan’s menu features healthy, home-made eat-in and takeaway food and drink. Options will include Baked Eggs Shakshouka, chicken and salmon skewers and a range of fresh deli sandwichs, not to mention freshly prepared picnic boxes to take away and enjoy in the sunshine.

Megan’s began life as a small antiques shop on the Kings Road in 2002 and has since opened in more neighbourhoods, growing into the celebrated community hub restaurant it is today. Sarah Hills, Managing Director of Megan’s commented, “We are so excited to be opening in Marlow, a beautiful town that we have had our eye on for some time. We really believe that our home from home, neighbourhood restaurant will be a welcome addition to this wonderful community. The team and I are so looking forward to welcoming our new neighbours into our restaurant soon.”

Katherine Croom, Managing Director at Sorbon Estates commented, “It was incredibly important that we find the right tenant for this central location. We wanted to secure a restaurant that would become a much-loved, long-term fixture in the Marlow community and Megan’s fits the bill perfectly. It is also ideally suited to the attractive courtyard setting of Liston Court and will complement the existing restaurant offering here to create an exciting al fresco, holiday atmosphere. We are delighted to be introducing this brand to the food scene in Marlow and cannot wait to see them prosper here.”

Here’s a few images from Megan’s social media, to give an idea of the vibe of some current venues, and of the food… yum!! Their restaurant each seem to have individual character, so we look forward to seeing how the Marlow one will turn out!
