| | ,

We have exciting news of a new business on Marlow High Street! Italian gelato brand Amorino, whose dessert boutiques are well known across London, will be opening ready for summer. Owned and run by Marlow residents, Peter & Kim Sandström , Amorino will serve a range of sweet treats from its natural gelato and sorbet to macarons, waffles and crepes as well as hot drinks.

Located at 105 High Street (previously Really Wild), just opposite the main entrance to Higginson Park, the dessert boutique will be perfectly located for those exploring the High Street or enjoying a stroll in the park.

MyMarlow has been in contact with Peter & Kim, the business owners, who have told us what we can expect!

Founded in Paris in 2002, Amorino specialises in gelato and sorbet, in 25 flavours including their best selling favourites pistacchio, mango, vanilla and hazelnut chocolate.

Amorino’s presentation is something special too – with scoops presented as ‘roses’, which can be mix-and-matched with any number of flavours, to create a pretty, individual cone. Their sorbets and gelato flavours are 100% gluten free, with its sorbets certified by The Vegan Society.

There are more than 200 Amorino locations worldwide, including 15 in Central London and now the first UK venue outside London will be Marlow!

Peter & Kim told us “We are so excited to be bringing the unique Amorino expereince to Marlow. Having made Marlow our home for over 20 years, we wanted to introduce something very special and different to our lovely community. Amorino will be the first of its kind in Marlow and our dessert boutique, serving Amorino’s range of no 1 premium treats provides something very different for our town.”

Rob Martin, Leasing Manager at Sorbon Estates commented, “Marlow is well-known for its picutresque High Street, with a charm that attracts tourists to visit for the day while being much-loved by locals. We wanted to find a tenant that would benefit visitors and locals alike whilst offering something new and Amorino perfectly fits that brief. The dessert boutique is ideally situated outside of Higginson Park and will create a holiday atmosphere for all to enjoy. We are delighted to welcome Amorino to Marlow.”

You can be sure that MyMarlow will be all over this when it opens, and will keep you posted as things develop!
