** EVENT CANCELLATION 6th MAY **

Sadly, we’ve been advised that the May Fayre and Big Screen for the coronation in Higginson Park been cancelled due the bad weather.

The Round Table who organise the May Fayre said “We’re deeply saddened to announce that, due to the ongoing heavy rain, we’ve had to make the tough decision to cancel the Marlow May Fayre scheduled for this Saturday.
We understand how much you were all looking forward to this community event to celebrate the Coronation and we share in your disappointment. Our heart goes out to everyone who’s been preparing for this day – our friends at the Town council, stallholders, performers, and of course, you, our cherished community.”

Duck Race tickets still valid for a raffle!

A small silver lining in those rain clouds though for everyone who has purchased a Duck race ticket, Round Table are switching things up and running a Duck raffle tomorrow so you’ll still have a chance to win big there!

Crown Competition still going ahead!

Marlow Town Council are still keen to proceed with their crown competition: “Such disappointing news for those of you wanting to join us in the park to celebrate the Coronation. However, we’re really pleased to say that we can still go ahead with the crown competition, in a different location. We really don’t want to disappoint anyone who has made a crown.

Please come to the Shelley Theatre, Court Garden Leisure Complex, Marlow, SL7 2AE. The Town Mayor and fellow Councillors will be judging between 10am and 2pm. We’ll let the lucky participants know after 4pm if they’ve won a prize.”
