MyMarlow has previously attended the wonderful “Feast over Flame” dining event -and it really is an “event”, there is much more to it than just the fabulous food! It is back for 2024, and here’s the info from the organisers:
Feast Events is delighted to announce the return of Feast over Flame this summer. Hosted at a secret Marlow location from 3rd May to 1st June, the pop up will see guests transported by private boat to and from an immersive five-course BBQ dining experience by the river Thames.
The experience begins with a private boat ride to a secret location, where festoon lights and music lead the way to a beautifully set table complete with a personal Big Green Egg. After a refreshing welcome drink to set the scene, an immersive BBQ menu follows with five courses cooked at the table including s’mores and hot chocolate to finish.
A Saturday lunchtime seating is the perfect choice for all ages, with a children’s menu sure to delight the youngest in the brood. From Thursday to Saturday, an adults-only dinner sees the music ramped up and the lights dimmed for an unforgettable English summer evening of drinks, feasting and dancing. Both menus offer vegetarian options, with all dishes prepared in front of guests’ eyes on their very own Big Green Egg barbeque.
